Welcome to The Deborah Academy, a leadership development and coaching program operated by Corporate Parker LLC ("Corporate Parker," "we," "us," or "our").
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you provide to us through our website, coaching applications, consultations, speaking inquiries, purchases, and other interactions with our services.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you may have regarding your information.
By using this website, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
The short version: This website does not run analytics, advertising, or tracking tools at this time. It stores two small items on your own device (your accessibility settings and your privacy choice). We do not sell your personal information. Most information we receive comes from you, when you email us, book a call, or buy something.
Depending on how you interact with our website and services, we may collect information such as:
This may include:
This website does not currently contain its own forms. You provide information to us when you email us, when you book a call through our scheduling provider, or when you purchase from our online shop. You should only provide information that you are comfortable sharing for the purpose for which it is requested.
If you purchase coaching, consulting, speaking, digital products, events, or other services, payment information may be collected and processed through a third-party payment processor or storefront platform.
We generally do not directly store complete credit card numbers on our own servers.
Payment information may be subject to the privacy policy and terms of the third-party payment provider you use.
When you visit our website, our hosting provider (Netlify, Inc.) and your browser automatically exchange certain technical information needed to deliver the site. This may include:
This information is used to deliver the website, maintain its security, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse. We do not currently use analytics tools, advertising pixels, or social media tracking on this website. If that changes, we will update this Policy and will load those tools only if you have opted in (see Section 4).
We may use information we collect to:
We will not use information submitted through a coaching application for purposes unrelated to providing or evaluating services without a lawful basis or appropriate consent.
Cookies and similar technologies are small pieces of data stored on your device. This website does not set any cookies of its own. It uses your browser's local storage for the two purposes below, both of which are strictly necessary for features you request or for honoring your choices:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
deborahAcademyA11yPrefs | Remembers the settings you choose in the Accessibility Tools menu (text size, contrast, and similar). | Until you select Reset or clear your browser data | Strictly necessary |
deborahAcademyConsent | Records your cookie and privacy choices so we do not ask you again on every page. | Up to 12 months | Strictly necessary |
We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies or trackers. If we add optional tools in the future, they will remain switched off until you opt in, and you will be able to change your mind at any time.
Managing your choices. You can review or change your choices at any time by selecting Cookie Settings here or in the footer of any page. You can also delete or block stored data through your browser settings; some features, such as remembering your accessibility settings, may then not work.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of optional tracking categories. Because there is no uniform standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, we do not respond to them separately; however, because we do not currently track visitors across websites, there is nothing to switch off.
Fonts. The fonts used on this website are hosted on our own site, so your browser does not contact Google or other font providers when loading our pages.
Third-party sites. When you follow a link to a third-party service (for example, YouTube, our scheduling page, or our online shop), that service may set its own cookies and collect its own information under its own policies.
The Deborah Academy provides leadership development, coaching, strategic advisory, and business education services.
Our coaching services are not intended to create a therapist-client, physician-patient, attorney-client, financial advisor-client, or other regulated professional relationship unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
Please do not submit highly sensitive personal information (such as health information, government identification numbers, or full financial account numbers) by email or through general website channels.
If you choose to share personal experiences during coaching, we will treat those communications as confidential within the limits described in your applicable coaching agreement and as required or permitted by law.
We may share information with trusted third-party service providers when reasonably necessary to operate our business. These may include providers for:
We require these providers to use information only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information when we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect our rights, protect the safety of our users or others, investigate fraud or misuse, or enforce our agreements. If Corporate Parker LLC is involved in a merger, sale, or transfer of business assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not "share" personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including social media platforms, scheduling platforms, payment providers, video conferencing platforms, partner organizations, resources, and booking platforms.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party services before submitting personal information.
If you voluntarily provide your email address, we may use it to respond to your inquiry, provide requested information, communicate about services, or, where permitted, send marketing communications.
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism contained in the communication, or by emailing us. Transactional or service-related communications may continue when necessary to provide services you have requested.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information we maintain, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this website. However, no electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You understand that transmission of information over the internet carries inherent security risks. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by applicable law.
We may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business records, process transactions, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements, and maintain legitimate business records.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete or anonymize it in accordance with our business practices and applicable law.
Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at the email address below so that we can promptly delete it.
Depending on where you live and whether applicable privacy laws apply to you and to our business, you may have certain rights concerning your personal information. Because applicability can depend on factors such as the nature and size of a business, we evaluate each request under applicable law, and we will honor reasonable requests wherever we can.
Email us at corporateparkerllc@gmail.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and tell us what you are asking for. We may need to verify your identity before acting, for example by confirming details connected to your inquiry or booking. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, and we may ask for written proof of their authority. We aim to respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need more time as permitted by law. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response, and you may contact your state attorney general.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA/CPRA), California residents have the rights described above. In the past 12 months we may have collected identifiers (such as name and email address), commercial information (such as services purchased), internet or network activity (such as server logs maintained by our host), and professional information (such as organization and title) that you give us. We collect this information from you and from the service providers described in Section 6, for the purposes described in Section 3, and we may disclose it to those service providers for business purposes. We do not sell or share personal information, including that of consumers under 16. California residents may also request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83); we make no such disclosures.
Residents of Texas and certain other states (for example, Virginia, Colorado, and Connecticut) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their data, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and certain profiling. You may exercise them as described above.
Our website and services are directed to people in the United States. If you nevertheless contact us from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Corporate Parker LLC is the controller of the personal information you give us. We process it on these legal bases: to take steps you request before entering into a contract or to perform a contract with you; to pursue our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business and responding to inquiries; to comply with legal obligations; and, where we ask, with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time. You have the rights described above, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Your information is processed in the United States and by service providers that may be located elsewhere; where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. If we make material changes, such as adding analytics or advertising tools, we will take steps to notify you, for example through our cookie settings notice.
Your continued use of the website following an update means you accept the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
